Motivation can be such a struggle, regardless of what it is you are trying to accomplish. Sometimes it can be tough to get in your workout, not eat all of the chocolate in your house, or even just get off the couch!
A few things that I struggle to stay motivated with include working out (yes, it is true!), not procrastinating with my homework, walking my dog, and even working on my blog. Sometimes life just gets in the way or I get in a funk.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love quotes. I have more than one Pinterest boards dedicated strictly to quotes. Quotes might not be everyone’s “thing”, but they inspire me to either do some self-reflection, get motivated to do whatever task I have at hand, or they inspire me to be my best self.
In honor of it being Monday, perhaps a day when we all struggle with our motivation, I have compiled a list of my favorite motivational quotes. These quotes have helped me, so I hope they can be helpful for some of you!
“Your attitude determines your direction.”
“Starve your distractions. Feed your focus.”
“Fall asleep with a dream. Wake up with a purpose.”
“Intention is one of the most powerful forces there is.”
“We are judged by what we finish, not what we start.”
“Never forget how wildly capable you are.”
“Anything is possible if you’ve got enough nerve.” – J.K. Rowling
“Don’t miss out on something that could be great just because it could also be difficult.”
“We cannot become what we want by remaining what we are.” – Max Depree
“If there’s a Goliath in front of you, that means there’s a David inside of you.” – Carlos A. Rodriguez
“Have goals so big you get uncomfortable telling small minded people.”
“Almost every successful person begins with two beliefs: the future can be better than the present, and I have the power to make it so.”
“If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”
Have a great Monday, friends!
