I used to think that bucket lists were “stupid” and then I almost died. I can’t speak for everyone who has almost died, but it made me look at life a little differently. It made me want to do things that maybe everyone has done or maybe nobody wants to do out of fear or whatever. It made me want to experience life and live every day like it is my last.
Most of my bucket list is travel related, but there are some fun adventures and quirky things on there, too. I have completed many things already that won’t be listed here. The most recent thing I did was kissing the Blarney Stone in Ireland.
I encourage everyone to have a bucket list and to not waste any time crossing items off! I am also always adding to it so it is always evolving!
- Isle of Man
- Niagara Falls
- South Africa
- Hawaii (specifically Pearl Harbor)
- Go back to Disneyland as an adult
- The Galapagos
OTHER LIFE ADVENTURES:
- Build my dream home
- Have kids
- Pet a corgi
- Have a garden and keep it alive!
- Walk up to a gaggle of goats and go “BAAAAAA!” and see if they all do it back like they do on the YouTube videos
- Have my own She-Shed
- Volunteer at a cat sanctuary
- Own a lot of dogs
- Squat over 200lbs
- Deadlift over 250lbs
- Bench over 120lbs
- Get my Master’s degree
- Publish a book
I try to not keep my bucket list too long because I don’t want to be overwhelmed by it! If I could do at least half of these items during my lifetime, I will be so happy!
